Marcy Lee Henderson, Rt. 1, Raeford, pleaded guilty to a charge of violating alcoholic beverage control laws and was given a six months suspended sentence and fined $100 plus costs. She was ordered to violate no alcoholic ! ^control laws for a period of two years. Howard Locklear, Rt. 1, Rae ford, pleaded guilty to selling beer Vithout a license from the state and was sentenced to six months in jail, suspended for two years. He was fined $100 plus court costs and ordered to violate no alcohol control laws for two years. Donald Carl Peterson, P.O. Box 213, Raeford, pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicating bev erages, fourth offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to two years in jail, suspended for three years on the condition that he pay $1,000 fine plus costs of action. He was further ordered to violate no penal laws of the state for three years. The defendant gave notice of appeal. Garry Moore Strickland, Aber deen, was sentenced to 12 months in jail, suspended for two years, after he pleaded guilty to driving while his license was revoked. Stickland was fined $200 plus costs and ordered not to operate a motor vehicle until properly licensed to do so. Willie Herbert Blue. Rt. 2, Box 4, Raeford, pleaded guilty to DWLR and was sentenced to 18 months in jail, assigned to work , 'tinder the supervision of the N.C. Department of Correction. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended, and ordered to pay $50 each week for the benefit of his children. For good cause shown costs of court were remitted. James Earl Jackson, Lumber Bridge, pleaded not guilty to a charge of receiving stolen goods. Probable cause was ruled in the case and Jackson will be bound over to the Hoke County Superior Court for action by the Grand Jury. Earl Bullard, 319*/j S. Hunt, Rt. 1, Red Springs, was sentenced to two years in prison after he was found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon involving his wife. Jessie Lee Lock lear. Hunt gave notice of appeal. He was ordered bound over for action by the grand jury on a separate charge of kidnapping arising out of the same incident at his wife's home. Additional charges of rape, kid napping and ADW in connection with the same incident were dis missed by the prosecutor when the state's witness, Christine Oxen dine, also of Rt. 1, Red Springs, failed to appear to testify.
