Charges of driving under the

lotte, entered a plea of guilty to all
charges before Judge Joseph Du
pree. His Breathalyzer reading was
.15%. He was sentenced to four
months on the charges of D.U.I,
and following too closely. A sen
tence of three months was imposed
on the charges of no operator's
license and failing to give officers
his name and address. The second
sentence was set to begin at the
expiration of the first.

Workshop
Planned
On December 13, at 7 p.m. all
Hoke High seniors and their par
ents are urged to attend a Financial
Aid Workshop at the school li
brary. The College Scholarship
Service of the College Board has
attempted to simplify the process of
applying for financial aid. This
year one application will be used to
apply for various types of funds.
These new financial aid forms will
be issued and instructions for
filling them in will be given, step by
step. Parents should bring with
them a copy of their 1976 U.S.
income tax form 1040. Your in
come tax form will not be seen by
anyone, you will use it yourself in
completing the forms.
Parents who do not plan to apply
for financial aid for their sons and
daughters, but who are interested
in knowing some approximate
costs, and whether or not their
child will benefit financially from
living at home and attending a
nearby college or living on a college
campus, are urged to attend. These
and other topics will be discussed at
this workshop. Please plan to
attend!
