The forum was held at the Municipal Auditorium in Charles ton. S.C. Karen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Brown, who live on ? the Aberdeen Cut Off here in Hoke County. She has a brother and sister, John Brown, Jr. and Valinda. in Hoke High School. Karen has done exceedingly well in her field, and her talents have made her stand out over upper classmen. Because of her active participation at the forum, she was asked to run for Regional Director of the South Atlantic region, but she declined, stating that she didn't feel she would be ready for the position until at least one more year of school, since this is just her second year in the field.
