COOKING SCHOOL The Hoke County Agricultural Extension Service held a cooking school July 22 through th^riday for hoys and girls ages 9 to 19. and IN youngsters were enrolled. In one photo Joan Macon ( center 1 and Sarah Hayes [right] stop during a demonstration before the class to listen to Ellen Willis. Hoke Extension home economics agent. Mrs. Macon and Mrs. Hayes were the volunteer instructors. In another picture. Mrs. Hayes helps students who are trying to make dishes they were taught to make by the instructors. In the other picture, other students are working on dishes from what they have learned. [Staff photos]. ^WHO DONE IT?" ? The Summer Reading Program, "Who Done It?", will only last three more weeks. If you have joined the program and are behind in getting your clues, you better hurry up. Don't forget there is a celebration (party) August 14 (Fri day) so try to get your reading done early. You have to have all twelve clues to come. This party is open to CLUB MEMBERS ONLY. Sure 4kope you have been saving all the ^lues you have been given. You must present these to attend the celebration and find out "Who Done It?" KEVIN MARKHAM Kevin has been exceptional help in the library, working evenings while still in school and doing night and weekend work. His pleasant attitude and working ability was Wery special and he will really be missed. We wish him well in school. He will be studying marine biology in Wilmington.
