Luncheon Honors Recent Brides Mrs. Jeff McNeill of Clemson and Mrs. John Morris of Green ville. S.C., who were recently married were honored with a luncheon at the home of Mrs. Frank McFadyen on Saturday. February 6. Hosting the occasion were the bridge club members of the brides' mothers-in-law, Mrs. John K. McNeill. Jr. and Mrs. Sam Morris. The honorees were presented corsages of daisies. Mrs. McNeill was remembered with a gift of china in her chosen pattern, and Mrs. Morris had been remembered with a gift at an earlier time. Arrangements of fresh spring flowers decorated the dining room table and individual tables in the den. Guests were served buffet style from the dining room and seated in the den. The Health Occupations Club held a program meeting on Monday night. Mrs. Kathv Ellis talked on the overview of the Health situation in Hoke County. The Health Occupations Club is preparing tor the March 1st. HOSA District Congress to be held at Fayetteville. Hoke County held its annual Miss EKOH Pageant on Friday night. The 1982-83 Miss EKOH is Miss Dana Connell. The first runner-up was Lisa Gillespie; 2nd runner-up was Linda Seize more. Miss Connell also won the position of "Miss Congeniality." In the eight finals were Dana Connell. Carla Myers. Lisa Gillespie. Linda Seizemore. Rhonda Blanks. Windy Clinard. Betsy Blanton. and Beth Driggers. Entertainment was pro vided by members of the high school's chorus and chorale. The pageant ended successfully as Miss Beverly Farrow crowned the new Miss EKOH.
