Clifford Canipe. Burial was in the church Cemetery. Mrs. Jackson was born March 13, 1923, to Robert M. Herndon and Nola Herndon at Red Springs. She married Luther Jackson, Jr., April 19, 1941. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church at the time of her death. She attended Philadelphus ^ School and Red Springs city schools, all in Robeson County, till she graduated from high school. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband; three daughters; her mother; six brothers; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Lillie Mae Maxwell Mrs. Lillie Mae Maxwell. 83. died Friday. ^ The funeral was conducted Sun- ? day afternoon in Philippi Presby terian Church by Dr. John Ropp and the Rev. Homer Rickabaugh. Burial was in Raeford Cemetery. Surviving are her daughters. Mrs. Reba Womble of Burlington. Mrs. Pauline Oakley of Charlotte, and Mrs. Kate Mclnnis of Raeford; her brothers. Frank Smith of Pinehurst and Watson Smith of f Siler City; her sisters. Mrs. Jessie Bass of V ass and Mrs. D.M. Rav of Raeford; and seven grandchildren. Crumpler Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Flora Belle Hahn Mrs. Flora Belle Hahn. K4. died February 5 in Broomall Nursing Center in Philadelphia, Pa. She worked for many years at the m Philadelphia Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church and was exe cutive and confidential secretary to Dr. Raymond Strupe. executive presbyter of the Presbytery, when she retired. The funeral was conducted Feb ruary 8 in Wayne (Pa. I Presby terian Church by Dr. Robert Gordon. Graveside services were conducted in Hillside Cemetery in 'W northeastern Philadelphia by Dr. Strupe. now retired. Mrs. Hahn was a native of the Bethel Church community of Hoke County and was a sister of the late Clifford J. McNeill. Sr. Mrs. Clifford J. McNeill. Sr.. and C.J. McNeill. Jr.. attended Mrs. Hahn's funeral. They were accompanied by Mrs. Jean Ray Harris of Fayetteville. Miss Shirley f| of Raleigh, and William Brown McNeill of Burgaw. Mrs. Hahn was married to William R. Hahn. She is survived by her daughter. Mrs. Max H. Richter of King of Prussia. Pa.; and her brothers. Neil Leroy McNeill of Sparta. N.J., and William Brow n McNeill of Burgaw. I Henry L. Leak Survivors of Henry L. Leak. 52. who died February 8. include his wife. Mrs. Susie Leak; his daughters. Vernetta Leak. Mrs. Mary Ann Massey and Neadine Leak of Fayetteville. Lena and Susie Leak and Mrs. Juanita Campbell of Raeford. and Mrs. Shirley Manuel of Fayetteville; his sons. Matthew Leak of Raeford. and Albert Leak of Fayetteville; 13 f grandchildren; his sisters. Mrs. Flora Jane Newton of New Haven. Conn., and Mrs. Annie Lee Gates of Raeford; and his brothers. E.W. Leak of Raeford. John Ellay Leak of Fairmont, and Roy Leak of Baltimore. Md. The funeral was held February 12 at Mt. Olive Pentecostal Holi ness Church. Burial was in Silver J Grove Cemetery. * Mrs. Mary Lattimorr The funeral for Mrs. Mary Louise Lattimofe. 64. of Salisbury, who died February lb. was con ducted Sunday afternoon in Piney Cemetery.
