Rose Parish Considered Rose Marie Parish, a Hoke County High School senior, has been named for further considera tion in the Pogue Scholarship program of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was notified of this last week by Charles Long, chairman of the Pogue Scholarship Committee, by letter. Miss Parish was asked to arrive in Chapel Hill on the afternoon of March 21 and spend the nights of March 21 and 22 as a guest at the Carolina Inn. Long wrote that she was among the 18 students elected for further consideration from among more than 250 applicants. Miss Parish's home is on Rt. 1, Red Springs. BORDEN Was *2?'
