Wiseman's Mortuary of Fayette ville was in charge of the arrange ments. Mrs. Thelma C. West Mrs. Thclma (Jane) Clark West of Rt. I, Salisbury, a native of Hoke County, died Tuesday morn ing in Rowan Manor Nursing Center at Salisbury after several months of declining health. She was born December 2. 1913, to Luther Clark and Maude Blue Clark. She was a 1934 graduate Grace Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. West was in private duty nursing for several years and. for 15 years till she retired in 1%7. she was night supervisor at Rowan Memorial Hospital in Salisbury. Mrs. West a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Salis bury and of the United Lutheran Church Women and was a visitor for the church. She also was a member of tta^ American Legion Auxiliary. * Her husband, Hilton Graham West, died May 27. 1962. Surviving are her brothers. John Clark of Morganton. Douglas Clark of Laurinburg, and Glenn Clark of Hope Mills; and her sisters. Mrs. Mildred Huff of Rt. I. Salisbury, with whom she made her home. Mrs. Maidia Ashburn of Raeford. Mrs. Lucy Beach oi Lenoir, and Mrs. Ruby Bucll i# Grass Valley, Calif. The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. John's chapel by the Rev. David K. Huddle and the Rev. David Nelson, and burial will be in Salisbury National Cemetery. The family was to receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Summersett Funeral Home of Salisbury and at other times at Mrs. Huff's home on Woodld^ Road. Salisbury.
