RJWC Holds April Meeting The Raeford Junior Woman's Uub met on April 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hoke County Civic Center, l he nominating committee hosted the evening with delicious refresh ments. Jane Britt presided over the meeting with much old and new business to discuss. New business included plans to hold a spaghetti supper in Sep tember of this year. Peggy Souther land was appointed chairman, and rl!!leu ?uson. co-chairman. Old business included donations to Camp Millstone, a 4-H camp for one child to attend. Tew of Raeford and the late Mr. Tew. The wedding took place on Sat., April 24th at 2 o 'clock in the afternoon at the home of the bride 's sister in Fairbluff. After a trip to the beach, the couple will make their home in Charleston. S.C. Wells Honored Martha Wells, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wells, has been named senior volunteer for the month of April at Hoke County High School. A certiticate of award will be presented to her by the Hoke County Reading/ Literacy Council. She is being recognized for peer tutoring. Miss Wells has been in volved in a special project using a reading technique that has re- f quired much of her time, effort and innovation.
