^>frCLoJL ~(u Mrs. Steve Phillips, Social Reporter, 875-4171 Miss Epps, Mr. Click Married In Tabernacle Baptist Church I Miss Judy Anne Epps, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Epps of Stoney Point Road and Kenny Jerome Click, son of Mr. and Mrs. N.D. Click of Fayettevilie were united in marriage Sunday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. in Tabernacle Baptist Church at Rockfish. Rev. Robert Clegg of Buies Creek officiated the double ring ceremony. The Chancel of the Church was decorated with a bank arrangement ; of Baker's fern, gypsophilia, plumousus. Queen Anns' lace and red roses, illuminated by candlela bra with fourteen burning tapers. The trinity candles were draped with white satin ribbons and white doves. Traditional wedding music was presented by the organist, Bryan Miller and Mrs. Claudyne Brock, vocalist, presented a medley of "If", "The Rose," "Time in a ' Bottle," "Evergreen" and "The Wedding Prayer." The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in a white linen dressmaker suit and wore a picture hat with flipped back brim with a wide white tulle bow that reached mid waist in back. She carried a wicker Fireside basket of long stem red roses and Queen Anns' lace with a red satin bow and streamer. ^ The bride and groom were unattended at the altar. Serving as honorary bridesmaids were Miss Janet Steinbis of Atlanta, Georgia, Miss Cecillia Barbour and Mrs. Bobbi Click of Fayettevilie. The candles were lit by Jimmy Ray of Clinton, brother of the bride, who served as an usher. Steve Click of Fayettevilie brother of the bride groom also served as an usher. The mother of the bride was attired in a seafoam green chiffon street length dress. The bride groom's mother wore a pink chiffon street length dress. They both wore corsages of mixed spring flowers. The bride is a graduate of Seventy-First High School, at tended Meredith College in Raleigh one year and is a student at Methodist College in Fayettevilie, ) majoring in Business Adminis tration. The groom is a graduate of Seventy-First High School and is employed by Owen's Garden Center in Fayettevilie. Following the ceremony the re Maness Family Reunion Held ^ The annual Maness Family Re union was held the first Sunday in June at the Lake at Dead End on the Aberdeen Highway. Fifty-one family members were present from Raeford. Asheboro, Gastonia. Rockfish. Florida. Red Springs. Hope Mills, and South Carolina. MissCoker Is Honoree At Coffee On June 5th Becky Coker was honored with a coffee given by Mrs. David S. Currie, Mrs. Joe Up church and Mrs. Martin Webb at the Currie home. The hor.oree was given a bridal corsage of silk flowers upon arrival. The dining table from which the guests were served refreshments was covered with a outwork em broidered cloth and centered with a silk floral arrangement. Refresh ments included brownies, open face sandwiches, sausage balls, cinna man coffee cake, cheese stars, Cokes, and coffee. The hostesses remembered Miss Coker with gifts of china and stainless in her chosen patterns. Together with their parents Lee Ann Stillabower and David Riley invite you to share with them a celebation of love. The parents of the bride hosted a buffet - reception at the home of the newlyweds on Route 3, Fay etteville, which was decorated throughout with mixed summer flowers and candles. Guests were greeted by Mrs. Lawrence Barnard who also directed them to the guest register. Mrs. William Repsher served wedding cake and Mrs. Brenda Bullard of Fayetteville served punch, assisted by Jerry Fink also of Fayetteville. Goodbyes were said to the couple, their parents and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Epps, grandparents of the bride. Out - of - town guests were Miss Janet Steinbis of Atlanta, Georgia. Miss Debbie Hope and Jimmy Ray of Clinton, Miss Wanda Epps and Wesley Thomas of Cheraw, South Carolina, Rev. and Mrs. Robert Clegg of Buies Creek. REHEARSAL Following the rehearsal on Sat urday evening there was a Cake Cutting in the Fellowship Hall of the Church. Cake, punch, cheese ball, crackers and a salad was served.
