Mark E. Yates, a native of
Nathalie. Va.. joined the manage
ment team at Burlington Industries
in the Administrative Office on

Yates received his master's de
gree this spring from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Other education includes a high
school diploma from Halifax Coun
ty High in Virginia, and a B.S.
degree from Hampden-Sydney Col
lege. Virginia, in 1980.
Yates is making his home in
Raeford. is single, and likes to hunt

construction work underway, Ed
Williams, town manager, said this
week.

field, members of the local 4-H
Club Judging team, David and
Lawrence Willis and Danny and
Joe McGougan. showed last week
that they are headed for bigger
things. Talmadge Baker, farm
agent, said Tuesday. The team
came in fourth in judging.
