Flu Shots Needed
By High Risk,
Elderly Persons
Doctors and Clinics here and
throughout North Carolina wiilr*
soon be administering a protective
flu vaccine to thousands of "high
risk" individuals - those 65 and
over, and those of any age with
certain medical conditions.
There are many persons in North
Carolina in the high risk category
who will be especially vulnerable to
complications from a flue attack.
Some of the medical conditions
in the high risk group are chronic^
heart disease, bronchitis, tubercu
losis, emphysema, kidney disease,
diabetes, chronic anemia.
Anyone with one of these medical
conditions should consult his/her
family doctor as to the need for the
flu shot.
The shots can be obtained from a
family doctor or from the Hoke
County Health Department.
The Health Department will
offer the flu shots beginning in*j
October on Monday's from 8 a.m. -
4:30 p.m. and on Wednesday's
from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m.
There will be a S3.00 charge for
the shot. The shot will be given at
the Health Department for ap
proximately six weeks or until the
vaccine runs out.
So get your flu shot early,
because there is a limited supply! n

will be presented to outstanding
Easter Seal volunteers from across

The Fayetteville Little Theatre is
now offering season tickets for the
1982-83 season.
The FLT season coupon lists five
plays for $20.00, a saving of 31%
over the price of individual tickets.
This special 20th birthday season
will open with "Encore, 20 years of.)
Show stoppers," a revue of the great
musicals presented at the FLT for
the past 20 years."
This musical opening will be
followed in succession by "Babes in
Toyland" for the Christmas Holi
days, "Deathtrap" the popular
murder-mystery just released from
Broadway.
A new play on the life of
Lafayette will highlight the bicen- >
tennial celebration of the naming of>
the city of Fayetteville.
Closing this exciting season will
be a big, new musical freshly
released from Broadway.

receive the rights to "Best Little
Whorehouse in Texas," or
