Jason McPhatter, Rt. 1, Box 126. Colorado Dr., Raeford, assault on a female, voluntary dismissal by the prosecutor: witness subpoenaed and didn't appear. Jerry Bethea, Rt. 2, St. Pauls, two counts of careless and reckless driving, sentenced to serve in the t Hoke County Jail till 6 p.m. Saturday (October 16). Roger Thomas, Laurinburg, as sault by pointing a gun, sentenced to serve in Hoke County Jail till 6 a.m. Friday (October 15). Tony Glenn Powell, Hope Mills, speeding 68 in a 55 zone, pleaded guilty; driving while license sus pended, found not guilty; driving under the influence, pleaded not . guilty, found not guilty, found ' guilty of careless and reckless driving after drinking (consolidated with the speeding charge for judg ment), six months suspended for one year, $125 and costs and attend Drug and Alcohol Education School. Caleb J. Ross, Box 602, Raeford, displaying an operator's license knowing it to be revoked, and ^ driving while license revoked, 18 months suspended for two years, probation for two years, $350 and costs, not drive till properly li censed and attend Drug and Alco hol Education School; displaying a fictitious registration plate, volun tary dismissal by the prosecutor. Richard Daniel Gainor, Fayette ville, speeding 65 in a 55 zone, 30 days suspended for one year, $10 and costs. William Joseph Charles, Jr., 1152 Ratley Acres. Raeford. lar ceny, 18 months suspended for two years, $100 and costs, and not go on the property of the prosecuting witness (Selena Livingston) without written permission. J.W. Singletary, 405 E. Prospect Ave., Raeford. speeding 70 in a 55 zone, and passing on a grade crest, 30 days suspended for one year, $25 and costs. Ricky Lee Moseley, Roanoke Rapids, speeding 68 in a 55 zone, voluntary dismissal by the prosecu tor; exceeding a safe speed, costs (defendant's appearance waived). SSgt. Pat R. Ransom, Ft. Bragg, driving under the influence, and speeding 65 in a 55 zone, six months suspended for one year, SI 50 and costs, not drive till properly licensed, and attend the Alcohol and Drug Education School. Frank Bryant, Rt. 3, Box 226-D Raeford, speeding 65 in a 55 zone, and not displaying a current in spection certificate, 30 days sus pended for one year, $5 and costs; financial responsibility not in ef fect, voluntary dismissal by the prosecutor. John William Mcintosh, Rt. 1, Raeford, speeding 48 in a 35 zone, $10 and costs. James Edward Singletary, Rt. 2. Box 581, Raeford, driving under the influence, six months sus pended for one year, $200 and costs, and not drive unless properly licensed. Theresa Ann Cramsey, Allen town, Pa., permitting an un licensed person to drive the defen dant's vehicle, and aiding and abetting a person under the in fluence of alcohol to operate the vehicle, voluntary dismissal by the prosecutor: insufficient evidence, because Tony Powell was found not guilty of DUI and driving while license suspended. Gary Michael Carter, Rt. 4, Red Springs, possession of marijuana, $15 and costs. Deldrea Shaw, Jones Hill, Rae ford, assault with a deadly weapon, found not guilty, prosecuting wit ness to pay costs for frivolous and malicious prosecution.
