Wedding music was provided by lammie Kuyawski, pianist. Phillip Cole, Judy Strother, and Tammie Kujawski, vocalists, sang "The wedding Song," "I p|edge My Love, and "My Sweet Lady." a is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard McBryde Jr. of Ashley Heights. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Logue of Southern Pines. i, TJ?e bride given in marriage by her father, wore a wedding gown of sheer silk over satin, with lace and ^4^ at the hi8h neckline and "^Wlice. The sleeves fell in ruffles to the elbow and a wide ruffle tnmmed with lace edged the skirt. Three lace circles decorated the skirt. TTic tieired lace edged veil flowed from a lace headpiece. The .skirt ended in a long train. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of silk flowers, made for ner by a friend, Janice Pickler. f Pamela McBryde, sister of the J ' was maid of honor. She wore long peach dress adorned with antique lace. She wore baby's breath in her hair and carried a bouquet of silk flowers. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ted Law rence of San ford, cousin of the bride; Mrs. Dennis Ellis of Cherry Point, fnend of the bride; Paige McLean of Gainesville, Florida cous.n of the bride. They wore long ^yncot dresses, adorned with an tique 'ace and carried bouquets of silk flowers. Frank Logue, father of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Leonard and Ryan McBryde. brothers of the bride and Jimmy Logue of Southern Pines, brother of the bridegroom. The bridegroom, best man and ? ushers were all attired in white xedos with peach boutonnieres. Francis Pickler. friend of the bnde, registered the guests. Linda Tullock, aunt of the bride directed the wedding. The bride's mother wore a purple dress with a purple and peach corsage. The bridegroom's mother wore a turquoise dress with a peach corsage. The church was decorated with Apo candelabras with cream ndles accented with greenery and four baskets of ferns. RECEPTION brides parents hosted a reception in the church fellowship building. r The three tiered wedding cake was served by Janice Pickler. friend of the family. The cake was iced in ?l?w. peach and green flowers, e table was covered with a white ed cloth. It was centered with an arrangement of flowers and adorned with candles. Sausage balls, mints, nutty fingers, dilled wieners, were served from the reception table. The newlyweds will make their home in Princeton. Bratchers Honored On Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Jessie J. Bratcher celebrated their 48th Wedding An niversary on October 18, 1982. They were married on October 18, 1934 in Raeford, N.C. and are the parents of nine (9) children, Hattie of Brooklyn, N.Y., Doretha McNeill of Hartford, Conn., On nie Dudley, Annie Taylor, Jessie Williams & Lillie Rheames of Raeford, Lillian Morrison of Brooklyn, N.Y., Helen Goins who is stationed with her husband in Wuerzburg, Germany and James W. Bratcher of Moore County. Mr. and Mrs. Bratcher were honored with a Seafood Dinner at The Ark in Fayetteville on Satur day, October 23 and also received other gifts. Births Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Stewart of Marshville, N.C. announce the birth of a son, Joseph Brian, at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stewart is the former Debbie Ward, daughter of Virginia Harrell of Raeford, N.C. and grand daughter of Rosa Cole. Bride-Elect Is Honoree At Shower Miss Lisa Jackson, whose mar riage to Lynn Ellis will take place on Nov. 7, was honoree at a bridal shower at the home of Mrs. Ann Hardin on October 19. Mrs. Kay Gardner was co-hostess. Cake squares, mints, nuts and punch were served from the dining table, centered with silver candleholders with yellow tapers. Approximately 20 guests were present. The bride-elect received many beautiful and useful gifts. Ashley was born to Mr. and Mrs. Collins on Oct. 13 and is their se cond daughter. As guests arrived, each took her turn at greeting and holding Ashley. Gifts were opened and displayed by Mrs. Collins. Refreshments were served from the dining room table centered with a yellow and white floral arrangement. Hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. Waylon Fulk of Fayetteville, Mrs. H.P. Walters and Mrs. Ray mond Ellis, aunts of Mrs. Collins and Mrs. Curtis Baker of Aber deen. Bridge Mrs. Coley Members and three visitors, Mrs. Gene Carter, Mrs. Bobby Wright and Mrs. Billy Dalton, met at the home of Mrs. Walter Coley on Thursday evening for bridge. Miss Frazier, Miss Ivey To Present Voice Recital Miss Julie Frazier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Frazier, and Miss Gay Ivey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Doc) lvey, all of Raeford will present their joint senior voice recital at East Carolina University on Friday evening. No vember 5, 1982 at 7:30 p.m. The recital will be held in A.J. Fletcher Recital Hall. Accompanying Miss Frazier will be Penny Hartlaub on piano and oboe, and Joan Frazier on piano. Miss Ivey will be accompanied by Kenneth McLawhorn on piano. This recital is being presented in partial fulfillment of the re quirements for their degree: Miss Frazier's in Bachelor of Music Therapy & Miss Ivey's in Bachelor of Music Education. Misses Frazier and Key are graduates of Hoke County High School and former students of Mrs. Mary Archie McNeill of Raeford. Both are former members of the Hoke County Chorus & Chorale and the Hoke County High School Band. The public is invited to attend the recital. Following the recital, a reception given by the parents of Miss Frazier and Miss Ivey. will be held in the A.J. Fletcher Faculty Lounge. Family and friends are in vited to attend.
