Feb. 19 SMALL ENSEMBLE - The West Carteret Small Ensemble will perform Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Raeford 'Presbyterian Church during the morning worship service. The ensemble, from West Carteret High School in Morehead City, con sists of 21 members from West Carteret Singers, the top per forming choral group. This group performs many times throughout the school year and especially at Christmas. During the worship service at the Raeford Presbyterian Church, the group will perform "Our Lord Our God" by Buxtehude, "Sine Nomine" by Williams and "A Party Blessing" by Williams. Also, the ensemble will travel to Wilm ington to compete in the NCMEA Small ensemble Festival singing "Begone Dull Care" and "April Is In My Mistress' Face." Feb. 13, 17 PESTICIDES CLASS - There will be two certification classes for persons who use restricted use pesticides. Many pesticides that farmers use and some that home owners or gardeners may use have restricted use labels. In order to legally buy such a product a user would need a "green card" or restricted use license. The first class will be offered Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the Agricultural Extension of fice.
