She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Bunton of 2304 Beason St., Phoenix City, Alabama. Mrs. Bunton, nee Nancy Parker, grew up in this communi ty, the daughter of Mrs. Meta Smith and the late R.D. Parker. Sandhills offering vehicle inspection training courses Sandhills Community College has been selected as one of the col leges in the system to offer training necessary for mechanics and technicians to qualify as inspectors in Official State Inspection Sta tions. This program was recently con tracted to the Community College System by the State Vehicle Safety Inspection Division. Two classes are scheduled on Sandhills Community College campus. The First class is scheduled for March 25, and the second class is scheduled for April 22. Local student honored for N.C. State studies Robert W. Moses of Raeford has been named to the Dean's List at North Carolina State University for achieving outstanding academic records during the fall semester. Moses is studying civil engineer ing. To earn Dean's List honors, NCSU students must obtain academic averages of 3.25 or higher out of a possible 4.0.
