Sheats of Raeford, a mechanical engineering technology major, has been named to the President’s List with a 4.0grade point average.# North Carolina State University Chancellor 1-arry K. Monleith con ferred degrees tin about 2,365 stu dents when the university held 1996 fall graduation on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh. Dr. Jerry Punch, a trauma special ist and television sports reporter who graduated from NC Slate, delivered the graduation address. Candidates for degrees were from 94 North Carolina counties, 41 other stales and 48 foreign countries. NC Stale holds graduation ceremonies each year in the spring and tall.
