Our limited staff prevents our
cosering many of the events w e are
invited to attend, but we welcome
write-ups brought into our office, e-
niailed or faxed to us by parents,
teachers and other school staff mem
bers.
Articles written by students, w ith
their teachers' approval of the fin
ished copy, are especially welcome.
It is our goal to encourage students'
journalistic endeavors.
Photos are used according to their
quality. Some lips on photo taking
include getting closer to subjects,
particularly if a Polaroid camera is
used. Also, try to eliminate back
ground clutter and have subjects face
the camera. Identify each person by
both first and Iasi names, and this
includes teachers and principals; we
will not use material lhat does not
include both names.
We strive to use all school re
leases as soon us typing time and
space allow. However, don't hesi
tate to call the editor (875-2121) if
your release is not used in one to
three weeks. Also, call if you have
other questions.
