Last Friday afternoon the Car
oleen team defeated the Cherry
ville “Cherries” 10-8 in a confer
ence game.
Cherryville started off good
and remained ahead most of the
game, but Caroleen came up and
scored 5 runs in one inning
which put them ahead for tne rest
of the game.
The Cherries lost to Caroleen,
due to errors and not hitting v/ith
men on the bases.
This was Cherryville s second
defeat of the season.

Cherryville defeated Forset City
lest Tuesday afternoon, 5-2 at
Forest City in a thrilling Western
conference game.
The game started off very
good ns both teams buckled down

Then Forest City came back
strong to make two runs. Forest
