We pay tribute in simple words on this Labor Day, to the work ing men and women of America who have made the Weapons of war with which our brave fight ing men have won Victories. And to those who have kept the wheels of industry rolling on the home front. NOW THAT PEACE IS HERE IT IS TIME TO GIVE THOUGHT TO TOMORROW. JUST AS WE TOOK WAR IN OUR STRIDE, SO WE MUST WALK HAND AND HAND WITH PEACE WITH HUMIL ITY AHD THANKFULNESS TO GOD, WE MUST STEP FORWARD TOGETHER INTO A NEW WAY OF HOPE, A NEW WAY OF UNIVERSAL CHRIS TIAN LOVE. WE MUST GIVE FAITH, COURAGE AND OPPORTUNITIES TO THE INDIVIDUAL CASUALTIES OF WAR. BOMBS AND BULLETS MUST BE CONVERTED INTO THE TOOLS OF PEACE. ALL OF THESE DEMOCRATIC IDEALS MUST BECOME UNIVERSAL REALITIES. THE PRINCI PLES OF THE SAN FRANCISCO CONFERENCE SHALL BE FULFILLED BY OUR PULLING TO GF.THER, WORKING TOGETHER, PRAYING TOGETHER FOR THE DAWN OF A BRAVE NEW WORLD.
