SOIL CONSERVATION
NEWS
Marvin Quinn, Route 1 Clover,
located in the Crowders Creek
community, did a fine job of
pulling the stumps from a five
acre field which had been cleared
several years ago. Mr. Quinn did
the job of stump pulling with
hi, tractor during his spare time,
also hauling the rock off the
field, when other farm jobs were
not pushing. The field is now sown
fn wheat and will be in good
shape to use any kind of farm
machinery without darqage to
his equipment. It is important
to conserve equipment as well
as the soil reseurees of the farm.
