Miss Brown And Hinton Burgess Wed in Emporia Gatesville. — On Wednesday afternoon, August 15, in Em poria, Va., a marriage of interest was solemnized when Mary Elizabeth Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. V. Brown of Gatesville, became the bride of Hinton Randolph Burgess of Con way, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noah Burgess. The bride was attired in a cos tume of fuchsia crepe with black accessories and wore a shoulder corsage of roses. The couple was attended by Miss Reba Brown, sister of the bride, and Mrs. E. J. Burgess. Mrs. Burgess is a graduate of East Carolina Teachers College and is at present a member of the Conway school faculty. The couple are making their home in Conway where Mr. Bur gess is engaged in farming. Zion Fellowship Meeting Is Held Zion. — The Methodist Youth Fellowship of Zion Church met Friday night with Misses Irma and Marita and H. C. Hudgins. A program on Evangelism was given by Jean Hunter Spivey, Willie Marie White, Helen Chaney Brown and Irma and Marita and H. C. Hudgins. Those present were Rev. and Mrs. T. A.
