Ten New Subscribers From Each Local
Means an Increase of 22,000
We began a campaign several weeks ago to put the Carolina Union Farmer
in the hands of every Union member in the State. We made special clubbing
offers to the Local Secretaries and agents and last week we offered a Prize
Phonograph to the Local
furnishing the largest num
ber of subscriptions to this
paper before the meeting
of the State Convention.
Up till Monday seventeen
locals had responded with
clubs. An equal number
came in early this week,
and by next week we hope
to have as many as 250 or
more. By the time the
State Convention meets
we hope to have received
something from every Lo

than double our subscrip
tion list before December
10th.
We want to make a spe
cial request of all local of
ficers to take this matter
up at once and put the pa
per in the hands of their
members. It will be a very
easy matter if properly
presented, and the matter
of getting a club in every
local can be attended to
with very little time and
expense. A club of ten
new subscribers from 2200
locals means a gain of 22,-
000 subscribers. There is
not a local organization in
the State that could not
furnish 10 subscribers at
the special price, while many could furnish fifty or a hundred.
Now is the time for Locals to act. All clubbing offers will continue until
State meeting, December 10th. Why not get that club started in your local?
