The manager of the Reidsville Opera House thinks he is exceedingly fortunate in securing such a show for Reidsville. r Surveyors who are at work on the contemplated improvement of double tracking the Southern Railway are rap idly pushing the work and will soon reach here. The surveyors are now at work at Pelham. The double-tracking, when completed, will be a great boon to the Danville & Western Railway, which traverses the northwestern por tionof this county, and which road now runs its trains over the main line of the Southern from Stokesland to Dan ville, the operation of same bein sub servient to the schedule s of the South ern, long delays being occasionally in curred by lateness of the regular South ern trains.
