Neal Hardware Co. has opened up gain and' is sending out this letter to a lot of ita friends: "Dear Sir: As you have noticed, we have been closed for 10 days on account of makine an assignment. This was brought about by selling too many goods on credit. The majority of our bills were small and the parties each seemed to think that their little hill would not make much difference either way. The large number of these small bills, however, caused us this embaiv rasment. "Now we aresendingout to all of our friends, whom we have tried in every way possible to accommodate, their lit tle bills, and ask as a special favor that they let us have a settlement for them at as early date as possible. This will be a great accommodation to us just at this time and help us to regain imikscr sion of our business. "Your patronage has always been highly appreciated and we hope to con tinue selling you hardware as before. It is- my fixed intention to remain just where I am, in the business that 1 am in, but it depends upon my friends in payment of their bills promptly as to regaining my farmer position. Editor The Review:-! wish to say through your paper to the farmers something of what I think about the present crop of tobacco. From what I have seen and the experience I have had in the field I think we are going to ha ve a crop of good charactered tobacco, but I think with the season we have had there will be some tobacco that will be inclined to fire. I do not rec ommend priming except when it shows firing. When it shows it will not stay on the stalk. Until the stalk matures then 1 recommend to pull off all such. Cure it as well as you can, then put it away in good keeping order and there will be some time in this tobacco year that it will pay you for your trouble. There will be a time when it will bring from six to ten cents. Do not pull them until they get ready. In conclusion will say that we believe that the present growing crop will pay for the raising this time and that our market will be in the best shape it has ever been. We will have all the orders that will be on any other market, be sides one more man from the American Tobacco Company. Hoping to soli tobacco for you all, we remain, Yours to serve, A. J.
