Sharp of High Point visit ed his mother, Mrs. Mary Ann Slurp, on Piedmont street, Saturday. Mrs. Sharp is in quite feeble health, we re gret to know. Mr. Sharp says the furniture factories in High Point are experiencing a full measure of WiIm-ti prosperity. Mr. Louey Fagge', a well known citi zen of Leaksvllle, died at his bora" there Saturday. The deceased was HG years old. He is survived by his wife and three children. He was a brother of Messrs. S. F. and J. W. Fagge and Mrs. Wm. H. Smith, all of Roidsville. The remains were buried Sunday afternoon at Howard's Chapel. -A beautiful and impressive baptis mal service was hold on Sunday af ternoon, Sept. .10, 1916, at the home of Mr. W. J. Worsham. in Ruliiii. N. C. The Rev. Dr. I). I. Craig of Koids ville, baptized little Sarah Genella, the Infant daughter of Mr. anil .Mm. Russell Johnston of Godfrey, Ga., and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wor sham of Rullin.
