NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS ON LAWSON VILLE AVENUE At, a regular meeting of the Town Conimissioners of Reidsville, isorin Carolina,- held at tho Town Hall on the 8th day of November 1916, the following resolution wau unanmouslly adopted: "13o it ordered by the Board of Commissioners of the town of Reids ville, of Reidsville North Carolina, that whereas, A. Wilkinson, Clerk of this Board, has submitted to the Board a petition of a majority of the abutting properrty owners on the following described local improve ment district, viz: "Beginning at the intersection of Lawsonville Avenue and East Market street and running East with said Lawsonville Avenue (which is hereby made a local improvement district as contemplated in Chapter 65, P. L, North Carolina 1915, and has lodged his. certificate showing the sufficiency of said petition in all respects as re quired by Chapter 5, P. L . North Carolina. ' "Therefore , it is hereby retiolved that the local street improvement to wit: the paving of all said local im provement district composed of said Lawsonvilla Ave With sheet asphalt on concrete base as plans and speci- vcatlons to be filled by a competent engineer and approved by this Board, j It is further ordered tnat owners 01 rll property abutting on said streets and within said local improvement district, to be paved, r.hall connect their several premises with water mains and sewer pipes, said connect tions to be inade in accordance with improvement district adjacent to ordinance on sewers and water con nections, located in tho said local their Reveral premisos in the manner herein prescribed, viz They shall cause said connections to be made, or the Board of Commissioners will cause 1 said connections to be mada and the. cost thereof shall he special ly assessed against the particular lot or parcel of land for is connec tion with which it was made. C, on SATURDAY, JANUARY 27, 1917, at 2 o'clock p. m., at public auc tion, sell the tract of land known as the Ford Tract: Adjoining the lands of J. J. Mo Cargo and others, and containing 177 acres, more or loss. This tract of land fronts on both sides of the ma cadam road, is splendidly located, five miles from Reidsville and two miles from Wentworth; has on it three set tlements and other improvements, and will be offered la parcels suitable tor small farms.
