' The open'ng exercises were held in the high school auditorium, with de votional services conducted by Rev. W. P. Robertson and Rev. R. S. Howie. After the devotional services the exercises were more or less infor mal. The following compose the faculty: J. C. The Wheeler Brothers shows were here Saturday, and they drew one of te largest crowds that has been In Madison in 12 months. What came near being a most se rious accident here Saturday took place when Hard James and Mr. Card well had & head-on collision with their automobiles. Fortunately no one was hurt, but it seems a miracle, for both cars were badly damaged; one of which was moving at very rapid rate of speed, - - ' - N. H. Lewis of Stoneville was here Monday. In fact all tobaccos under $30 are much higher than I ever saw them in my life.
