LETTER MAILED OUT A General Community Fair Rally Will Be Held Sat urday Night The community fair to be held -at Lowe's Grove on October 11th, this year bids fair to be the best one ever held. Such was the opinion of group of enthusiastic citizens that met Monday night to discuss plans for ts successful conclusion. Many ex tra features are being provided for such as: tractor and farm machinery Klenionstrat,'ions, home .convenience demonstration, water and light' de- montration. dairv demonstraions and many ohers. An attractive premium list is being arranged and will soon be given to the public. The building which the community built for the fair last year will be used and will give ample room for t lie exhibits. Everybody is especial ly urged to bring their live stock and farm products to the fair and to sel ect now the very best from the farm. A feature that many farmers are tak ing great interest in is the ,general farm exhibit from one farm. Urges Baptists of the City to Cooperate in the Movement A campaign to raise $25,000 in Durham for Baptist Colleges and High Schools in rjprth Carolina will be started in November by a loca Smith. Twenty-five thousand dol lars is Durham's quota cf a million dollar campaign among the Baptists of the State. Other members of the committee are Dr. R. D- Gaw and Rev. W. A. Ayers. The committee' has mailed out lt ters to many ot the Baptists in Dur ham unging their cooperation in Jir campaign.
