Leading on Thursday for Camp Bragg at Fayetterliie were four Dobson young men who have enlisted in the Citizens Military Training Camp, for a full course in field artillery, cal vary, infantry and other lines of training. Considerable enthus iasm in the movement is mani fested by the Dobson boys, some of them Jufct out of High school and all eager to make the most of the C. M. T. C. The party leaving Dobson to spend a month in the camp included Wilson Comer, Richard Nichols,, Cbas. Cox, Kelly Callahan. C. September .21, 1802. He was a large land owner, a justice of the peace and a deputy sher iff for a number of pears in Sur ry county. He moved to Ruther ford county, N. C., in December 1849, and died October 12, 1864 He married Galatha Ladd, of Wake county, N. C. and they had the following children: Can dance Wallace (born 1824); Hezeklah Johnson (born 1826, my great grand father); Nathan H. Johnson (bor n 1828); Amos L. Johnson, (born 1830); Jona than Hutchins Johnson (born 18- 34); Lewis William Johnson, fborn 1837); and Drucilla Ann Johnson, (born 1^23).
