Thursday, January 5, 1933 I WHERE Will Your Money Go This Coming Year l! I j Will It Be Spent Among ELKIN MERCHANTS? IjM The year 1932 has been a hard year for most of us—rich and poor alike have had to watch their dollars in order to make them go as far as possible. Among one of the valuable I lessons we have learned is that the "Live at Home" plan is best—we are all dependent ■flL %M upon one another—mills and factories must run—stores must be kept open if clerks are Wm \W to be paid on Saturday nights—money in turn must be spent wisely to keep the wheels of I WW industry turning. Money must change hands often —every person with a will must con sider the past lessons and benefit by them during the new year. If we face the new year, N which was ushered in Sunday, with determination and confidence that business is on the upgrade then we will all have prospered by the hardships of the past year.
