MOTHER OF STATE f ROAD WOMAN DIES Mrs. Laura Handy Johnson Passes At Her Home At DeHart HAD LINGERING ILLNESS Mrs. Laura Handy Johnson, 62, wife of Isaac C. Johnson, died Thursday morning, December 31, at her home at Delhart, following a lingering illness which had prey ed upon her for some time. She was a devout Christian, a member of the Welcome Home Baptist Church which she join ed when the church was founded. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Winfrey Luff- Now is the time to take advantage of these special reductions on Men's and Boys' ready-to-wear. Funeral services were held at the home Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D. M. Dillard, former pastor of the de ceased, and interment was made in the family plot in the Welcome Home cemetery, under a covering of flowers which silently testified to the love and esteem in which the deceased was held.
