holidays here with her mother,

able to return to her home from a

her theme, "Our Gifts for the
World—With Missions." Mrs. Ro
lin read the scripture, Luke
10:38-42. Mrs. Wells. Mrs. Vestal
and Mrs. R. Q. Boles gave inter
esting light on the subject discus
sed.
The business meeting was pre
sided over by the president, Mrs.
L. S. Weaver and it being the
first meeting of the new year
pledges for missions work for the
new year were made by the mem
bers
Following reading of the min
utes by the secretary. Miss Mary
Mathis, a delightful social hour
was enjoyed in which refresh
ments were served.
There is a significant return to
religion in all parts of the United
States. Even in the metropolitan
area of New York City there is a
sharp attendance increase. The
noon-day services at Trinity for
brokers often overflow.
