FACTS ABOUT
The Great Majestic Range
It is the only range in the world made of Malleable
and Charcoal Iron.
It has, leyond any question of a doubt, the largest
and best reservoir.
It uses about half the fuel used on other ranges, and
does letter work by far.
The Majestic All Copper Nickeled Reservoir heats the
water quicker and hotter than any other. It is the
only reservoir with a removable frame.
The Charcoal Iron Body of the great Majestic Range
lasts three times as long as a steel body.
Being made of non-breakable material, there is prac
tically no expense for repairing the Majestic.
As for baking, it is perfection; not only for a few
months, but for all time to come.
A GREAT MAJESTIC RANQE lasts three times as
long as a cheap range, but it doesn't cost three times as
much.

4,000 LAMPS LIT BY WKELESS
Current Carried Five Miles for
Four Hours Without Wires.
Omaha, May 115. The Omaha
Electrieal Show was last night
lighted by wireless current, this
being the first time that a lighting
currents has been sent without
wires.
The current came from the Gov
ernment wireless station at Fort
Omaha five miles from the auditor
ium where the show was being
held. There were 4,000 incandes
cent lamps and for four hours those
lamps were lighted by the wireless
current.
The system by which the experij
ment was made was a discovery of
Dr. Frederick Millerner, wireless
expert of the Union Pacific Rail
road.
The Bill of Lading Fraud.
Charlotte Chronicle.
The extent to which bill of lad
ing frauds have been carried on in
this country Is something astonish
ing. It's claimed that they amount
to about $3,000,000 a year. The
American Bankers' Association is
making an effort to eliminate these
frauds through a new form of bill
of lading. The boards of trade and
commercial exchanges throughout
the country have agreed to pay no
drafts on bill of lading attached,

unless every bill, in addition to
the signature, bear also the official
stamp of the authorized agent,
such stamp giving date of his siga

of lading must be in ink or indeli
ble pcncial, and the quantity re
ceipted for must be written in full
in add i ton to the numerals. It is
believed that the adoption of these
safeguards will operate to the ad
vantage of all, including the car
riers, and very largely tend to
avoid farther losses through for
gery and alterations. While but
very little fraud of this kind there
has leen enough of it to make the
matter interesting to our people.
Fencil wood is often taken from
old rail fences. Cedar wood, even
though rotted and weather beaten
without, has singular propensity
to remain fresh and sound within
and it is thus that many of the
the pencil makers get their supply
of wood.
