Mr. Charlie Hcott Badly Cripple His Bight Hand and Receive a Palnfnl Heck Wonnd by the Accidental Dis charge of Hla Onn, . Mr. Charlie Scott the sixteen year old Uon of Mr. Solomon H. Scott met with a very serious accident yesterday. While out after birds with companions about bis own age, bis gun was accidentally discharged while he was getting over a wall near die upper part of the macada mized road. His right hand was badly injured, by the discharge, the first joints of the three main fingers leing blown off and the little linger and thumb injured. He was also wounded in the throat by ono ol the shot It lacked but a hair's breulth of being a fatal accident. Capt. DISCIPLE SUNDAY SCHOOL The exercises held at the Church of Christ Tuesday niu'ht were interesting and well carried nut. There was a large gath ering of people and all appeared to have enjoyed the program, which consisted in the rendition of "The Glorions Birthday,'' composed of readings recitations and, appropriate and specially prepared music. Afterwards there was a general distribu tion of fruits and confectioneries. CENTENARY SUNDAY SCHOOL. This large and prosperous school bad two Cnristmas trees at the spicious Y. M. C. A. Hall on Wednesday night. They were most beautilutly ami artistically ar ranged on the stage, and being filled with presents and brilliantly lighted with ta pers, allowed to splendid effect.
