Tbe Tientsin & Peking Railway is now in course of construction, snd tbe number of engines required is but a smAl one for sample purposes. Half of them are to be used in the freight and half in the passeng er service. Fifty Tomocliie Indians surrounded the custom bouse at Pulonias, Mexico, thirty miles south of Demicg, N. M. The offi cers repulsed them.
