June 8. f Before the railroad commission today the Governor filed his complaint against railroads in North Carolina. This meet ing will be an important one. The firing by the ships was very heavy and did great damage to the Spanish for tifications. Caimanera is thirty miles cast of San tiago and is a point where the Spaniards are preparing defenses to prevent tne debarking of the American troops.
