Amonif other things are 10,000 ball cartridges to be used in target practice. It is said now that with the leggings, 1,000 pairs, the campaign hats, shoes, etc , which came yesterday the regiment is fully equipped except a few minor things. Washington, July 3.ri The admlnistra- tion doea not expect to bear from Gen eral Miles for some days owing to the istance be has to send to reach a cable station. Washington officials believe however that General Miles has landed troops at Fugerdo and that General Brooke will laud at Granica aud Generals Wilson and Burcelonila. The armies will uDile and move togeth er to attack Sin Juan. The points of landing are ao far from San Juan Unit it will be almost impossible for the Spanish commander to concentrate enough troops make much resistance, aud before roops could be sent from Sau Juan Gen eral Miles will be reinforced by the troops which the War Department is sending after him us rapidly as possible. General Miles has less than 5,000 effec tive men with him. The officials of the War Department are confident that be will be able to accomplish all that he ex peels to do before the arrival of reinforci mcuts. He will establish his lauding base under the protection of the guns ol the navul convoy. The transports sailed from New Oilcans today with two immune regiments. The traniiort Morgan sailed from Tampu for Porto Kiuo and the steamer Panama sailed from Santiago with supplies for General Miles, consisting of tools, pile driven and other appliances. Admiral Sampson's warshliw stopped a merchantman off San Juan making fur one of the ports. It is believed that the blockade of Porto Rico ia complete. The Spanish steamer .
