Peanuta continue to bloom pro fusely, and a large yield may be expect ed. Rice and Held peas have Improved, Shipments of melons continue on a large scale. She was to hsve sailed yesterday, but was delsyed by the late arrival of Companies G and D of the Nineteenth Infantry. The Nineteenth Infantry, part of which goes on the steamer, is the largest regiment In the United States, If not In the world, having 1,800 men. It Is the first to be completely recruited under the new orgsnlxatlon of 1x8 men to a company. The remainder of the regi ment will sail this wsek. Gen. "Joe" Wheeler and bis dsugbter are passengers on the Tartar, Bestaei) the regulars, 17S recruits are oa the trans port.
