Attorney general Douglas today gavs the State treasurer his opinion that the latter could not collect State tax on tel epuone business save on that which Is wholly within this State: that the State law Is unconstitutional and cannot be enforced as to later-State business. The Attorney General gives the Treas urer an opinion as to the case of the Na tional Bank of Oaalonla.whlch refuses to pay Slate tax for 1000.
