Feb. 8 The resolution of impeachment of Supreme Court Judges Fuiciies and Douglas was reported favorably in the House by Allen of Wayne, who asked, at the request of Representatives Ebbs and Blylhe, Re publicans, that the resolution be post poned and made a speciul order of busi ness for next Thursday. This is so as to give time to prepare and file a minority report. All tbe evidence In the case has been ordered pilnied. It was 12:30 this morning after a long session, thai the House judiciary com mittee, 37 members present, adopted the resolution in favor of Impeaching Judges Furches and Douglas, by a vote of 22 to 10, some not Toting. Speeches against impeachment were made by Connor, Whltaker, of Guilford, and Ebbs, the latter a Republican, and in fayor of Impeachment by Rountree, Spainhour aud others. All who Toted in favor of the resolu tion based their action entirely ou ibe report of the sub committee, which was unanimous and which was signed by tbe live members of the sub-oommlttee Allen, Conner.
