Trial of Impeachment Postponed on Account of Pressure of Business. Seats Arranged In Senate Chamber For the Trial. House Will Take Recess Daring the Trial Special to Journal. rUl.Eion, March 11 The Senate met as a Court of Impeachment, as It was the day set for the beginning of the trial of the Judges. The Senators were resworn as mem bers of the court. The court then ad journed until next Thursday by which time It is expected that the business of the Legislature will be ended. The pressure of Legislative business Is bo great that but little could hare been done in the trial, as the Senate's time would he practically all taken up. The seats in the Senate were entirely rear ranged today, so as to give the accused judges and their counsel and the House board of managers and their counsel seats in the centre. The judges do not raise any question as to the right of the Senate to sit after tlie, regular legislative session ends, as a court of Impeachment, or its right to be paid as a court. The House resolutlou names $4 a day a9 the pay, but really ll is not Untiled. The House will not ad journ sine die but will lake a recess un til about April 1. As she cannot make good cake with bad eggs, no more can she make cake that is light, delicious and dainty with inferior baking powder. Royal Baking Powder is indispensable for the preparation of the finest food. It imparts that peculiar lightness, sweetness and flavor noticed in the finest cake, biscuit, doughnuts, crusts, etc., which expert bakers say is unobtainable by the use of any other leavening agent.
