The report of the State Board of Public charities shows that there are 788 Inmates of the hospital for the Insane, at Morganton; 490 In the hotpltal at Bslelgh and 461 In that at OoldsbotOi total 1,644, The pet eentage of mortality at Morganton wa St, at Raleigh 10, at Goldsboro 8.8J. The percentage of enres to admissions is 47 st Morganton, 87 at Raleigh, 88 at QokU boro. Oaring the year admission was denied, for laekjof room, to 838 persons.
