From Calcutta-the correspondent of the Dally Mall In a dis patch says there Is little doubt that In dia Is threatenedjwlih another famine. This Is the more to be dreaded because the area affected is practically tho same that has been ravaged during the past two years. Much depends upon the rainfall during the coming fortnight, continues the correspondent, as a large portion of the gyring crops is still capa ble of being saved. COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. Harris was made ei empt from the payment of poll tax on account of Infirmity and disability. On motion, the poll tax listed .by Da vid Willis of No. 1 township be stricken out as said Willis has since died, and that Mrs. Neta Willis, widow of said Divld Willis be relieved of the payment of same, she being In needy clrcum stances.
