property of Capt. Bern Smith, near
Johnsons Point, six miles from New

rapidly lifting but both boats, were
steaming along slowly taking all pre
cautions against prescribed : by law,
the Blanche blowing her whistle and
the Neuse blowing and ringing the bell,

John Moore, and claiming LaGrange as
