The panic has spread to Maples,; Two st&ntr earthquake shocks 'whjch aha tered windows and cracked tha walls of buildings, were experienced today. The I entire population rushed to the" streets in terror, many persons crying: The Madonna has forsaken us; the end of the world has come." The people were brought to Naples "by twins, street ears, military carts and steamships. Similar means of transportation are bUng employed to bring away the pec ple from Torre Del Greco. . The police and carbiners are guarding the aban-; doned booses, and several members of the government are also there. The te'egram received from the Mayor- of San Sebastiano, a village near the ob- servatory, on the northwest declivity of Vesuvius, says the lava is approrching rapidly, and that the people are terror stricken. They have been for nights without sleep, he says, are destitute an l beg that - assistance be given them. Baby rambler roses in pots at War- ren'g today. Drink Warren's Root Beer.
