On motion It was Decided to Secure a lease of the buildng formerly occupied by the Elks, the first floor now by Coast Line Market. Dr. 3 F Patterson, city physi cian; made a Statement as to cases of smallpox.'' On motion, the matter was referred to the city attorney. The matter of a fire alarm system came up for discussion, the matter be ing left far further action. L. I Moore for the N.& S, R. R. and A. C. L ap peared, requesting that a city ordi nance allowing passenger trains to run miles per hour within limits being mde 10 -miles. The matter was re ferred to the committee.
