Fpr the past few weeks the women have been muttering about the' price of meat being raised by . the bn'chers. Chuck stealcwas 12 and . 14 cents per pound on Saturday, yesterday it was raised to 16, und when the women wen t to the shops this morniosr they found it IS cent". They gathered on tlw side walk and alked about the advance, and many threats were made. Final y sev ¬ eral of them went to the shops and or dered some meat to be pent to their homes. 'fiend He Became Excited and Shot Self. Trenton N, J., April 5. -A tragedy, in which a man was accidentally shot dead followed by thu suicide of the man who fired the fatal bullet, occured early today on the platform of the Philadel phia & Reading Ruilway' citation at Trenton junction, five miles from this city." The first victim was Frank Fracella cah "driver. The Buicide wvsb John Connelly, employed, as a watch man by the railroad company at Trent on, junction. These men with a rail road detective and the station telegraph operator, were standing on the platform when -the shooting occured. Connelly had two revolvers, one of which was empty. He was showing them to Fra cella, the two witness say, and had re marked 'How would you like to get a load from this one 1" when the weapon was discharged.
