THE SWIFT SPECIFIC CO, ATLANTA, OA. -REASONS FOR f - COMPLAINTS- A complaint from young and old, is usually alike, in that the reason is easily given, which prompts the complaint By complaint, in this particular discussion, is meant we thousand and one kicks, growls, or revilings which man' is habitually uttering, as a justification in most instances for his failure to do right things, or be right in things. A reason for a complaint, does, not Jjy any means prove its justifi cation, or is it a warrant that the complaint has been properly, sup ported by the reason. There may be a cause for complaint ample and just, which might excuse the com plaint being made. In periods when extreme climat ic or atmospheric conditions pre vail, crops may suffer severely and physical trouble may come to hu man beings. The press for weeks has told of persons committing su icide, giving as the reason for their suicidal acts, Halley's comet. This is a reason, but the actual cause for the complaint, is unbalanced mentality. , Good fortune, prosperity, good health, provoke no reasons to ex plain their coming. The cause of their coming can usually be easily traced. Failure provokes complaint and every complainer can give a multitude of reasons, and perhaps not be able to attribute one just cause for the complaint that the failure prompted. It will in most instances be found that because a reason can be given for the com plaint, that failure to accomplish was the natural consequence, where if the complaint had been passed over, ueither thought nor express ed, its importance would have amounted to little, for unacknowl edged and unwept over failures, rarely prove failures in the accept ance of the word -to quit The person who can reason out a com plaint, will have no time to make success at anything.
