With HaUey's comet going away again from the earth at a speed in conceivable to the human mind, to be forgotten by the present age, but held in mind by astrtinomists and scientists, there at phases with the comet's coming that are of more than just passing concern. One thing is the accuracy that has fore told the day of the comet's arrival, and this with its seventy odd years between visits when it can be seen from the earth.. From the human, ordinary side, there is humor and pathos. That various surmises and conjectures have been Set forth to alarm the ig norant, and have thereby produc ed amusing situations to the looker on, was to be expected.- The feeling of superstition, found quite often among the educated was demonstra ted Wednesday night, when thous ands of people throughout the country watched the skies during the night, if possibly some heav enly demonstration might not oc cur. The pathos is seen in the acts caused by unbalanced minds, which fearing the unknown, wreaked de struction upon their physical bod ies. Two good purposes it can be said the comet has served, first in prompting the educational inter est, for today more general knowl edge of planets, comets, atmos pheric conditions, great distances of space is found among all classes, than ever before in the world's history. And the devotional feel ing that could not fail to touch neariy every heart, as gazing into space, striving to see the comet, and beholding a part only of the matchless beauties of the universe how with the Psalmist must the thought have been, "Thy mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds." Herrick, -being duly sworn, deposes and says : When I was a girl, I had a head of heavy, long, dark brown hair which .was the envy of my schoolmates, and which attracted the atten tion and remarks of strangers. As I grew older, my hair com menced to come out, just a little at first, but gradually more and more, and then began to turn gray. I was induced by the many good reports I had heard of Wyeth's Sage and Sulphur Hair Remedy to try a bottle. My hair was quite linn ancr gray when I began using Sage and Sulphur, and you can imagine my satis faction when I found that it was fast coming hack to its natural condition, being thicker, darker and more glossy than it had been for a long time. I continued to use Sage and Sulphur, and my hair is now as heavy, dark and smooth as when 1 was a girl of sixteen. It is now four years since I commenced using Sage and Sulphur, and my hair if still in splendid condition.
